We went for our first ultrasound on June 18th. What a surreal experience! We are in fact, having a baby! The little U measured in at 21 mm and was deemed 8 wks, 5 days old and is DUE on or around JANUARY 22nd!Here is the first ultrasound - pretty cool! We are pretty sure he/she waved at us. I think he/she looks like Casper the Ghost here, but Brett nicknamed him/her Baby Kidney Bean and it stuck.
I have been feeling pretty good as the nausea and complete exhaustion seems to have passed. However, I still need to take naps most days and am hungry like Brett :) My bedtime is definitely different from Brett's. He spends many nights working until the wee hours on the home improvement side project website, YellowBungalow.
