Our friend Katie Swan sent us our first onesie! This seems like a milestone of sorts, so I thought I would post about it here. I have bought many a onesie over the years, but never for my own little one. It is now hanging on the "nursery to be" door, claiming the room for the baby (sorry Moose).
The onesie advertises "Party in my Crib - 2 am," which we find hilarious now, but probably won't think is too funny when we are up at that hour regularly.
Thanks Katie!

12-13 Weeks
We got to see the little one again on July 16th. He/she is now 61 mm! Growing fast and looking more like a baby every day! See it's cute little button nose on the left.
We also were able to hear the strong heartbeat, which was very exciting. This ultrasound was much more of an event than the first.
Our next ultrasound will be on September 4th at 20 weeks. It is a while to wait, but it will be worth it as we will know if we are having a boy or a girl!!! My mind changes daily ... originally I thought boy, but now I am thinking girl. Who knows!

8 Weeks - First Ultrasound
We went for our first ultrasound on June 18th. What a surreal experience! We are in fact, having a baby! The little U measured in at 21 mm and was deemed 8 wks, 5 days old and is DUE on or around JANUARY 22nd!
Here is the first ultrasound - pretty cool! We are pretty sure he/she waved at us. I think he/she looks like Casper the Ghost here, but Brett nicknamed him/her Baby Kidney Bean and it stuck.
I have been feeling pretty good as the nausea and complete exhaustion seems to have passed. However, I still need to take naps most days and am hungry like Brett :) My bedtime is definitely different from Brett's. He spends many nights working until the wee hours on the home improvement side project website, YellowBungalow.
